How to read these odds

For live-draw competitions, the odds shown are based on the maximum number of tickets — one ticket gives you a 1-in-{max} chance, and if a draw doesn't sell out your real odds are better. For instant-win competitions, we divide the total tickets by the number of instant prizes to show your chance of winning any instant prize; these are the odds at launch, published when the competition opens. Where a site doesn't publish ticket numbers, no honest odds can be calculated and we say so.

How the odds work on Prize Paradise

We have no live Prize Paradise draws with a fixed ticket cap listed right now, so there is no exact “1 in X” figure to show. Here is how entry and winners work on Prize Paradise, and the best odds we can see elsewhere today.

How Prize Paradise picks winners

Instant wins are tied to pre-allocated winning numbers revealed the moment you buy. Main draws — including the colour-wheel draws — run live on Facebook and are guaranteed to go ahead whatever the sales.

Can you enter Prize Paradise for free?

Yes — free weekly competitions in the app, plus the standard postal route.

How to work out your odds

On a draw with a ticket cap, your odds per ticket are one in the maximum number of tickets. Buy 5 tickets on a 10,000-ticket draw and your chance is 5 in 10,000, or 1 in 2,000. If a draw sells out, those are your exact odds; if it doesn’t, your real chance is better. Draws with no cap have no fixed odds, because they depend on how many entries are sold.
