What these guides cover
Each guide explains how a UK competition site works in practice: what tickets cost, how and when winners are drawn, whether odds are published, how the free postal entry route works, how fast winners are paid, and anything unusual — from judged skill games to insured jackpots. Guides are factual companions to our reviews: the review tells you what we think of a site, the guide tells you how it works. Use the tabs above to switch between live draw sites, where winners are picked in scheduled draws, and instant win sites, where results show the moment you enter.
