We opened our first free monthly draw on 12 August with a Ninja Air Fryer MAX PRO 6.2L as the prize. It ticked along quietly for three weeks. Then on Monday we started a small Facebook campaign, and on Wednesday lunchtime a member of the MoneySavingExpert competitions board posted the link. By Wednesday evening the entry count had gone past 300.
A few things worth saying, because we made some promises on the entry page and we’d like to be seen keeping them.
It’s free, and it stays free. No tickets, no premium numbers, nothing to buy. One entry per person. Duplicate email addresses get removed before the draw.
The draw is random and recorded. When entries close at 11:59pm on Wednesday 30 September, every valid entry gets a number and one is picked with a random number generator. Two reserves are drawn at the same time in case the winner doesn’t reply within 14 days.
We publish the winner. First name and county, here on the news page, within 30 days of the draw. Full details on request.
You don’t have to join the newsletter. There’s a tick box on the form for the weekly rankings email. It’s optional and most people don’t tick it, which is fine. The draw is the draw.
