Overview

Almost every operator on this site sells tickets for individual draws. Goodlife Plus doesn't. You pay a monthly subscription and are automatically entered into every draw that runs that month — you don't choose which competitions to enter, and you don't buy tickets.

That has one clear advantage and one clear cost. The advantage is that you never miss a draw and never have to do anything. The cost is that you have very little control over where your money goes, and no way to work out your odds.

Who runs it

Goodlife Plus PLC, publicly traded on the Aquis exchange under the ticker GDLF. The company previously traded as Semper Fortis Esports and as part of Chadd Media Ltd. It has run competitions since 2018 and launched the subscription model in 2021, founded by Charlie Chadd and Joseph Chadd. It reports around £20 million in prizes awarded.

Draws & winners

Draws run daily and winners are published through livestreams and social media. The frequency is the main appeal of the model compared with a ticket-based operator.

Odds & transparency

This is the weak point. Subscriber numbers aren't published and entries per draw are uncapped, so your chance of winning any given draw can't be calculated. The terms confirm there's no fixed maximum number of entries and that entries vary by tier and billing period.

That's inherent to the model rather than deceptive, but it does mean nobody subscribing can find out what their money is buying in odds terms.

Prizes

Cars have included a Mercedes C63, a Land Rover Defender and an Audi RS6, alongside regular cash draws, holidays and tech. Membership also carries lifestyle discounts on cinema tickets, coffee and takeaways — genuine value if you'd use them, worth nothing if you wouldn't.

Responsible play

This is a recurring subscription, not a one-off ticket purchase, and it renews until you cancel. Note your renewal date, cancel in writing and keep a dated copy. If charges continue after a written cancellation, your bank or card provider can withdraw a continuous payment authority directly. 18+ only.

Community & live draws

Winners are announced via livestreams and social media, which gives visible verification that prizes are being awarded.

Extras worth knowing

The lifestyle discounts sit alongside the draws. If you'd use them regularly they materially change the value of the subscription; if you wouldn't, ignore them when comparing cost per entry.

Frequently asked questions

How do I cancel Goodlife Plus?

Cancel through your account and follow up in writing, keeping a dated copy, then check your next bank statement. Multiple reviewers report charges continuing after they believed they'd cancelled. If that happens, your bank can withdraw the continuous payment authority.

What are my odds of winning?

They can't be calculated. Entries are uncapped, subscriber numbers aren't published and the terms confirm there's no fixed maximum. A low cost per entry only means something if you know how many other entries are in the draw.

Is the free postal route worth using?

It's legally required and genuinely available, but it gives a minimum of one entry against a subscriber's 25 or more. It isn't equivalent to subscribing.

What can you win?

Cars including a Mercedes C63, Land Rover Defender and Audi RS6, plus cash draws, holidays and tech. Members also get discounts on cinema, coffee and takeaways.
