How Prize Comparison Earns Money

Prize Comparison is an affiliate website. This means that some of the links on our site are affiliate links. When you click through one of these links and sign up, register, or make a purchase with a competition operator, we may receive a small commission from that operator. You pay exactly the same price whether you use our affiliate link or visit the operator's site directly.

We currently have, or may have, affiliate relationships with the following types of partners:

• UK prize competition operators (such as BOTB, Elite Competitions, Omaze UK, and others featured in our rankings)
• Affiliate networks including Awin, FlexOffers, Impact, Skimlinks, and Confido
• Direct partnerships with operators we review

How This Affects Our Content

Our rankings, scores, and recommendations are made independently of our commercial relationships.

Specifically:

• We do not change rankings based on which operators pay us more commission
• We feature operators in our top 15 based on our published methodology
• An operator's affiliate status does not affect their score in our reviews
• We may rank operators we have no affiliate relationship with above those we do
• Critical reviews of operators we partner with are published when warranted

If we ever feature a specifically sponsored or paid placement, it will always be clearly labelled as "Sponsored" or "Featured Partner" so you can distinguish editorial content from commercial content.

Why We Use Affiliate Links

Running Prize Comparison requires real costs — hosting, domain fees, research time, and ongoing site maintenance. Affiliate commissions allow us to keep the site free for visitors while remaining editorially independent.

We could:

1. Charge users to access reviews (we don't)
2. Run display advertising (we don't)
3. Use affiliate links (we do)

We chose affiliate links because they let us keep the site free and don't clutter pages with banner ads.

The competition operators we review are legitimate UK businesses, but prize draws and competitions involve risk. You should:
